This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate directly with the founding CEO to develop the StealthCo ambient AI platform from inception.
• Implement computer vision detection and activity recognition for commercially available cameras in genuine clinical settings.
• Begin with existing models and create a proprietary dataset that evolves over time.
• Oversee the data pipeline comprehensively.
• Establish the annotation operation along with quality standards.
• Identify what can be reliably detected based on insights from the clinical domain.
• Design technology distribution across both cloud and on-premise environments.
• Leverage experience in enterprise IT security evaluations.
• Manage technical architecture and delineate boundaries between components.
• Engage in a combination of hands-on work, AI agents, and targeted contractors while keeping full-time headcount minimal until revenue and milestones justify expansion.
• Assist in recruiting and assessing future engineering candidates.
• Attend design-partner clinical and IT meetings, Seed investor pitches, and future health-system customer discussions.
• Facilitate substantial technical dialogues with hospital IT leaders and clinical informatics teams.
• Achieve a working pilot and a viable product within the first year.
• Hands-on experience in computer vision; personally developed model code.
• Proficiency with current models for activity recognition, multi-person tracking, and pose estimation in real-world video environments.
• Background in fixed-camera video under challenging, real-world conditions, including multi-person tracking, occlusion management, activity/action recognition, and human pose estimation.
• Experience in delivering a product to production with real customers, taking it from concept to production with a small team.
• Preference for candidates with a founder or early employee background.
• Experience in deploying edge or on-premise inference where data cannot leave the premises or where strict data residency applies.
• Capability in model adaptation and fine-tuning using existing models rather than relying on from-scratch training.
• Experience in a startup or early-stage environment.
• Proven ability to work with a small team, make decisions with limited information, and ship iteratively.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity.
• At least 10 years of relevant technical experience.
• Demonstrated responsibility in people management.
• Previous work involving body-worn camera platforms, workplace safety video AI, retail computer vision, or surgical video AI is a strong advantage.
• Experience in deploying computer vision at an operational scale is a significant plus.
• Familiarity with chain of custody, data retention, or privacy review is a strong differentiator.
• Exposure to healthcare or clinical technology is beneficial, including HIPAA compliance, hospital IT procurement, or clinical workflow integration.
• A prior founding exit is a notable advantage.
