This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +30 more states.
• Define and advocate for FuzeRx’s technological vision and strategy leveraging AI, machine learning, and large language models (LLMs).
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of the technology infrastructure.
• Collaborate with the CEO and C-suite on the company's strategy, technology roadmap, and performance metrics.
• Lead the engineering organization throughout the complete product development lifecycle.
• Build, mentor, and motivate a high-performing technology team.
• Set priorities and implement product roadmaps that support growth and enhance patient experience.
• Drive user-centric technological solutions for patients and healthcare professionals.
• Establish and promote technology best practices within the organization.
• Evolve FuzeRx’s platform architecture while implementing scalable systems and processes.
• Identify and integrate innovative technologies.
• Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing engineering culture.
• Partner with product, science, and business teams on strategic initiatives.
• Develop potential leaders and technical talent within the organization.
• Promote communication and collaboration across various teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a closely-related technical field.
• Over 15 years of progressive leadership experience in product, engineering, and data science areas.
• A minimum of seven years in executive positions at a high-growth startup or a large, complex technology organization.
• Experience in building and scaling high-performing, cross-functional global teams with over 100 members across engineering, data science, and product.
• Experience managing remote or distributed teams.
• Proven track record of scaling customer-facing digital products or platforms from initial stages to a significant user base.
• In-depth knowledge of modern software development methodologies, data analytics, and AI/ML frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in React and React Native.
• Knowledge of API-first design principles.
• Experience leading Agile teams and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
• Capability to thrive in a highly regulated healthcare technology environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
• Ability to work at a computer terminal for extended periods and meet the stated physical requirements.
