This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Utah.
• Collaborate with the CFO and Finance leadership team to convert corporate strategy into operational and financial objectives.
• Assist in enterprise financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
• Oversee financial performance metrics and pinpoint risks, opportunities, and decision points for the CFO.
• Facilitate integration across finance, FP&A, accounting, revenue cycle, investor relations, and commercial operations.
• Lead special initiatives related to financial transformation, cost optimization, M&A diligence, or capital allocation.
• Prepare and review materials for Board of Directors meetings, quarterly earnings, and investor presentations.
• Compose executive communications, talking points, and strategic memos for the CFO.
• Coordinate Finance’s contributions to strategic planning, long-range forecasting, and portfolio assessments.
• Act as a liaison between the CFO and both internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage the CFO’s operating schedule, which includes staff meetings, leadership offsites, quarterly business reviews, and cross-functional forums.
• Monitor initiatives, deliverables, and metrics to ensure accountability and follow-through.
• Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks across Finance, Accounting, Procurement, and Investor Relations.
• Collaborate with HR and Communications to enhance Finance culture, engagement, and internal communications.
• Serve as a thought partner and sounding board for the CFO and CFO Lead Team.
• Function as an internal consultant on high-priority projects and represent the CFO in select meetings, committees, or initiatives.
• Assist in developing emerging Finance leaders.
• 10–15 years of progressive experience in finance, management consulting, strategy, or operations leadership.
• Strong understanding of healthcare, diagnostics, or life sciences business models and revenue dynamics.
• Exceptional skills in executive communication, analytical thinking, and organization.
• Proven capability to manage complex, cross-functional initiatives and drive results through influence.
• Experience collaborating closely with C-suite executives and Boards of Directors.
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• MBA, CPA, or CFA is highly preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person, virtually, and in writing across executive and enterprise audiences.
• Competence in analyzing complex data, preparing presentations, and maintaining focus and composure while managing multiple priorities.
• Regular use of hands and fingers for computer keyboarding, presentation design, and document preparation.
• Ability to read and interpret financial reports, presentations, and electronic communications.
• Adequate hearing for group discussions and video conferences.
• Remote work arrangement.
• Occasional travel for enterprise meetings, offsites, or investor events.
