Chief of Staff

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Lead the operational rhythm, including staff meetings, quarterly planning sessions, all-hands gatherings, and leadership events such as EM/IC Summits.

• Monitor commitments, establish agendas, and collaborate with Finance on budget management and headcount strategy.

• Convert Trust & Infrastructure roadmap priorities into organization-wide planning, resource allocation, and leadership visibility.

• Supervise headcount tracking, position approvals, backfills, sign-on bonuses, and location strategy.

• Collaborate with Recruiting and HR to facilitate hiring and assist hiring managers.

• Direct quarterly and annual planning, variance analysis, RLOAs, and organization-level metrics reporting.

• Enhance operational efficiency through process improvements and AI-driven productivity tools.

• Manage engineering communications, announcement channels, promotions, and all-hands messaging.

• Support cultural initiatives, intern programs, and the Engineering Blog.

• Connect engineering leadership, Finance, HR, and cross-functional teams to foster clarity, discipline, and progress.

• Act as an operational liaison to Trust & Infrastructure teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• 14+ years of experience in business operations, strategy, finance, or a related field, ideally in a high-growth technology environment.

• Demonstrated success as a collaborator with senior technical leadership.

• Experience with Trust, Infrastructure, or Platform teams is advantageous.

• Strong financial expertise, including budgeting, headcount planning, and variance analysis.

• Skills in cross-functional collaboration.

• Bachelor's degree is mandatory.

• An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

• Previous experience in Engineering Business Operations or as a Chief of Staff is beneficial.

• Familiarity with Salesforce, Workday, Tableau, and AI productivity tools.
