This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO regarding scenario modeling, resource distribution, and business growth.
β’ Ensure decisions are grounded in patient care, employee satisfaction, and financial viability.
β’ Prepare analytical reports and materials for the leadership team's decision-making processes.
β’ Manage supply-and-demand forecasts concerning patient needs, staffing, clinical capacity, geographical factors, payer types, and service categories.
β’ Recognize capacity limitations or surpluses and propose appropriate interventions.
β’ Establish a regular review schedule for forecasts, assumptions, and strategic decisions.
β’ Lead initiatives aimed at narrowing the gap between services provided and those reimbursed.
β’ Evaluate services that are discounted, unreimbursed, or at risk of nonpayment, and identify underlying causes.
β’ Collaborate with clinical, revenue cycle, contracting, growth, product, and operations teams.
β’ Develop annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial strategies alongside the CEO and fractional CFO.
β’ Assist department leaders in comprehending budgets and their financial implications.
β’ Track actual performance against budgets and forecasts, analyze variances, and suggest necessary adjustments.
β’ Facilitate scenario planning for recruitment, expansion, payer diversification, service modifications, and strategic investments.
β’ Translate corporate objectives into KPIs that encompass clinical quality, patient access, engagement, operational efficiency, growth, and financial stability.
β’ Oversee the company-wide KPI framework, which includes data validation, dashboards, reporting, and performance evaluations.
β’ Analyze performance trends, risks, and gaps for discussion at the executive level.
β’ Spearhead high-priority cross-functional projects.
β’ Identify risks and conflicts that require executive attention and present viable options.
β’ Foster accountability across teams while maintaining departmental leadership autonomy.
β’ Report directly to the CEO and be an active participant in the senior leadership team.
β’ Over 10 years of experience in strategic operations, finance, business operations, consulting, healthcare operations, or a similar analytical leadership position.
β’ Outstanding quantitative and financial abilities, including advanced skills in spreadsheet modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis.
β’ Capability to seamlessly transition between strategic thinking and detailed execution, including the development and maintenance of models.
β’ Highly organized and determined, with impeccable attention to detail and a proven history of establishing structure in dynamic environments.
β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clarify complex financial information for clinicians, operators, and board members.
β’ Dedication to balancing financial sustainability with clinical quality, patient safety, and access to care.
β’ Preferred: Experience in healthcare services, value-based care, Medicaid, revenue cycle management, workforce planning, or multi-site clinical operations.
β’ Preferred: Experience in a high-growth or early-stage healthcare company, particularly during a Series A to Series B transition.
β’ Preferred: Experience working directly with a CEO or founder.
