Chief of Staff

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Act as a strategic partner to the VP of Platform Engineering.

• Foster alignment, operational excellence, and strategic execution throughout the technology organization.

• Serve as the connection between platform teams and the Heartbeat AI and Virtual Assembly Line (VAL) builder teams.

• Facilitate the transition to an AI-first engineering environment.

• Oversee the Core Platform domain and ensure effective communication across teams, domains, and stakeholders.

• Assist with hiring, onboarding, team events, and workshops to cultivate team culture.

• Create reports and presentations for C-level executives and internal platform meetings.

• Lead and manage strategic and operational projects with cross-functional and international significance.

• Drive initiatives from conception to execution, ensuring measurable results.

• Provide support to the VP and engineering leaders in operations, strategic planning, project preparation, documentation, event planning, and coordination.

• Monitor AI adoption within platform teams and eliminate obstacles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience in software/tech settings.

• Over 3 years of experience in a startup or challenging project management environment.

• Highly organized and data-driven analytical approach.

• Capability to transform raw data into actionable strategies.

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all organizational levels.

• Ability to connect platform engineers with business leaders.

• Proactive mindset with a focus on achieving results and making high-quality decisions under pressure.

• Proficient in Google Workspace.

• Comfortable working with SQL, Python, or BI tools like Looker.

• Experience with AI productivity tools.

• Proficient in English.
