Chief Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Manage the complete accounting process and ensure tax compliance for CI Games SE.

• Prepare yearly financial statements, which include notes, cash flow, and deferred tax.

• Oversee annual and semi-annual audits.

• Contribute to the preparation of quarterly financial statements for stock exchange reporting.

• Calculate and file monthly and annual tax declarations, covering CIT, VAT, VAT EU, IFT (WHT), and JPK reports.

• Supervise the preparation and submission of GUS and NBP reports.

• Foster strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Monitor and ensure adherence to changing Polish government reporting regulations, including KSeF and CIT-JPK.

• Collaborate with the recruitment team and stakeholders during the hiring process as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.

• At least 4 years of experience as a Chief Accountant.

• Comprehensive knowledge of taxes and current Polish tax laws, including VAT, VAT EU, WHT, CIT, and MDR.

• Proficient in Excel, including functions, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and diligence.

• Excellent collaboration abilities and a proactive communication approach.

• Capability to work remotely with a high degree of self-discipline and effective time management.

• Proficient in English.
