Chemical Assessor – Textiles

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Conduct assessments in accordance with the bluesign® criteria.

• Prepare evaluations for companies aligned with the bluesign® standards.

• Review preparation documents prior to assessments.

• Execute onsite evaluations for companies, generate reports, and carry out related assessments.

• Monitor compliance progress through established roadmaps aligned with bluesign® criteria.

• Manage and refresh the primary business process IT tool.

• Conduct follow-up evaluations to ensure ongoing improvement within companies.

• Engage in project work as required and mutually agreed upon.

⛳️ Requirements

• Educational qualifications: degree in engineering, natural sciences, or a technical field, preferably related to textiles (e.g., textile engineer, chemical engineer, environmental scientist, or similar).

• Familiarity with product stewardship, classification and labeling, and regulatory matters.

• Understanding of chemistry and/or manufacturing processes within the plastic industry.

• Knowledge of environmental health and safety regulations.

• Previous experience in auditing is advantageous.

• Proficient in English, particularly in writing.

• Fluent in Spanish.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate in teams and work within multicultural environments.

• Demonstrated capacity to work independently.

• Ability to thrive under pressure and manage time efficiently.

• Capability to conduct thorough, fact-based evaluations.

• Willingness to undertake occasional business travel from the US to Canada and Latin America, in compliance with travel regulations.
