Chemical Assessor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Conduct company evaluations in line with the bluesign® criteria

• Prepare assessments based on the bluesign® guidelines

• Pre-assess preparation documents

• Carry out onsite evaluations for companies, including report drafting and associated assessments

• Monitor progress on roadmaps to achieve compliance with bluesign® standards

• Update and manage the business process leading IT tool

• Execute follow-up assessments to ensure ongoing improvement at companies

• Complete project tasks as required and agreed upon

• Engage in occasional business travel from the US to Canada and Latin America

⛳️ Requirements

• Academic qualifications: engineering, natural sciences, or a technical degree, preferably in textiles (e.g., textile engineer, chemical engineer, environmental scientist, or a related field)

• Understanding of product stewardship, classification and labeling, and regulatory matters

• Familiarity with chemistry and/or manufacturing in the plastic industry

• Awareness of environmental, health, and safety regulations

• Previous experience in auditing is essential

• Proficient in English, particularly in writing

• Fluent in Spanish

• Strong communication skills

• Capability to collaborate in team and multicultural environments

• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously

• Competency in managing time effectively and performing under pressure

• Skillful in conducting sound, fact-based evaluations

• Willingness to undertake occasional business travel from the US to Canada and Latin America, adhering to relevant travel regulations
