Chef Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Design and curate menus that reflect the venue's style and cater to customer preferences.

• Supervise food preparation and presentation while overseeing portion control and minimizing waste.

• Recruit, train, and manage chefs, cooks, and front-of-house staff.

• Offer guidance, coaching, and performance evaluations to the kitchen team.

• Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed.

• Engage with customers to comprehend catering requirements and resolve any issues.

• Gather customer feedback and maintain effective communication.

• Assist the head chef in ensuring compliance with health, safety, and food safety standards.

• Develop and manage kitchen budgets effectively.

• Provide financial performance reports and identify cost-saving measures.

• Stay informed on culinary trends and integrate innovative ideas into menu offerings.

• Keep precise records of inventory, orders, and food preparation activities.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards.

• Lead and nurture a team of six colleagues.

• Oversee the daily operations of the café, including breakfast, lunch, barista-quality coffee, and freshly baked goods.
