Chaplain – Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Acts as a messenger and promoter of faith, mission, and purpose.

• Conducts regular visits to employees or their immediate family members, providing care and assistance at locations such as hospitals, nursing homes, funeral homes, family residences, or other relevant sites.

• Offers referral services and coordinates specialized support for employees and/or their immediate family members who have specific needs.

• May provide post-termination support for laid-off or terminated employees to facilitate a seamless transition to a new work environment.

• Engages in new employee orientation to outline the Employee Care Service and the function of the Chaplain Team.

• Ability to function as part of an interdisciplinary team and in an interfaith environment.

• Proficient in actively listening and engaging with clients, employees, and their families.

• Exhibits spiritual maturity and a commitment to a Christian lifestyle aligned with MCHAPs Ministry values.

• Proven ability to interact with professionalism, diplomacy, patience, and courtesy across diverse groups.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills to engage effectively with leadership, colleagues, employees, and families.

• Demonstrated skill in analyzing information to identify and follow up on problems or objectives.

• Proficient in computer use, including Google Suites, Microsoft Office, or other comparable software.
