
Channel Manager, VAR Partnerships

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Recruit, onboard, and activate new VAR and reseller partners within targeted markets.
• Construct and prioritize a partner pipeline based on compatibility, reach, and revenue potential.
• Cultivate and expand relationships with current channel partners.
• Provide guidance to partners on effectively positioning and selling Aegis AI's platform.
• Design and implement partner enablement programs, including training, certification, sales materials, and technical resources.
• Create partner business plans and collaborative go-to-market strategies.
• Execute co-marketing campaigns and lead-generation efforts in partnership with key VARs.
• Drive and monitor partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline alongside sales.
• Assist with deal registration, pricing, and deal desk processes in collaboration with Account Executives.
• Establish partner tiering, incentive programs, deal registration workflows, and performance metrics.
• Represent Aegis AI at channel and industry events, partner conferences, and quarterly business reviews (QBRs).
• Report on channel program performance to sales and executive leadership.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and legal teams to enhance the partner experience.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in channel sales, partnerships, or alliance management.
• Ideally, experience within the fields of cybersecurity, SaaS, or technical B2B software.
• Proven history of recruiting and developing VAR, MSP, or reseller relationships from the ground up.
• Capability to build trust with partner principals, sales representatives, and technical teams.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and establish processes from scratch.
• Familiarity with deal registration, margin and discount structures, MDF, and the design of partner incentives.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Competence in managing a travel-inclusive schedule and effectively working as a remote employee.
• Knowledge of email security, cybersecurity, or related IT infrastructure categories is highly advantageous.
• Willingness to travel regularly for partner visits, events, and conferences, approximately 25–40% of the time.
