This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Drive commercial success across a territory of accounts for a substantial portfolio of spirit brands.
• Utilize brand programming, educational resources, and agency tools to deliver value to customers and account decision-makers.
• Adhere to all legal and marketing code regulations.
• Enhance brand visibility, market share, and sales velocity in accounts through strategic engagement activities and business-oriented solutions.
• Plan, monitor, and execute brand and portfolio engagement strategies using performance metrics.
• Gather insights on consumer trends to guide customer engagement sessions.
• Identify merchandising opportunities by comprehending portfolio priorities.
• Oversee budgets and expenses efficiently.
• Fulfill all reporting obligations.
• Monitor and manage performance data utilizing agency-designated platforms.
• Engage in internal training programs.
• Supervise point of sale, asset management, and warehouse operations.
• Collect brand, market, competitive, and customer insights.
• Act as a primary liaison among the portfolio, distributor, manager, and customers within the designated territory.
• Expand and deepen knowledge of spirits across various categories.
• Execute program activities and convey progress via strategic communications.
• Share success narratives with agency and client partners.
• Must reside within a 30-minute commuting distance from the designated market.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in the beverage-alcohol industry is required.
• Experience with distributors or brokers is advantageous.
• Prior experience as a bar, restaurant, or hotel operator is a plus.
• An expanding network of industry professionals in the market is essential.
• Knowledge of liquor laws, regulations, and rules is necessary.
• A keen interest in enhancing knowledge about spirits history, production, and cocktail culture is desired.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are a must.
• Persuasive selling and negotiation abilities are essential.
• Capability to customize communications for various on-premise settings.
• Comprehensive understanding of market and industry trends is required.
• Strong budget management capabilities are necessary.
• Must be able to work remotely.
• Flexibility to work varied hours and travel on an ad hoc basis, including nights and weekends, is required.
• Must have reliable transportation to commute to and from accounts.
• A desire for mentorship and a commitment to fostering team culture is important.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to manage administrative tasks with a focus on agency compliance guidelines and standards is essential.
• Frequent lifting and moving of product cases and other items weighing 50 pounds or more is expected.
• Must be able to bend, squat, crouch, reach, climb, kneel, and stoop as required.
