This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Propel commercial success across a designated territory managing a wide array of spirit brands.
• Utilize brand initiatives, educational resources, and agency support to enhance value for clients and account stakeholders.
• Adhere to all legal standards and marketing guidelines.
• Enhance brand visibility, market share, and sales velocity in accounts through strategic engagement and business-oriented solutions.
• Strategically plan, monitor, and execute brand and portfolio engagement utilizing performance analytics.
• Gather insights into consumer trends to enrich customer engagement discussions.
• Recognize merchandising prospects by aligning with portfolio priorities.
• Oversee budgets and financial expenditures.
• Fulfill reporting obligations.
• Monitor and manage performance metrics using platforms designated by the agency.
• Engage in internal training programs.
• Supervise point of sale materials, assets, and warehouse operations.
• Collect and curate insights on brands, markets, competitors, and customers.
• Act as a crucial intermediary among the portfolio, distributor, manager, and clients within the designated territory.
• Enhance expertise in spirits categories and develop both verbal and written presentation capabilities.
• Surpass commercial growth objectives within the territory.
• Execute program activities and relay success stories to agency and client partners.
• Must reside within a 30-minute commuting radius of the assigned market.
• At least 3 years of experience in the beverage alcohol industry.
• Experience with distributors or brokers is advantageous.
• Background in bar, restaurant, or hotel operations is a plus.
• Expanding network of industry professionals in the market.
• Familiarity with liquor laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Interest in enhancing knowledge of spirits history, production, and cocktail culture.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong persuasive selling and negotiation skills are essential.
• Capability to customize communication for diverse on-premise settings.
• Comprehensive understanding of market and industry trends.
• Proficient budget management skills.
• Capacity to work remotely.
• Flexibility in working hours and willingness to travel on an as-needed basis, including nights and weekends.
• Must have reliable transportation for traveling to and from accounts.
• Eagerness for mentorship and a commitment to fostering team culture.
• Bilingual capabilities (English and Spanish) are a plus.
• Ability to manage administrative responsibilities with a focus on agency compliance standards.
• Physical ability to lift and transport cases of products and other items weighing 50 pounds or more.
• Capability to bend, squat, crouch, reach, climb, kneel, and stoop.
