This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil, +1 more state.
• Oversee the creation of change order budgets in collaboration with project management, functional leads, and financial analysts.
• Develop, clarify, and provide variance analysis for change orders to present to clients.
• Monitor and manage change order requests to establish departmental metrics.
• Lead and engage in both internal and client meetings.
• Work in partnership with project management, financial analysts, functional leads, and other team members to generate accurate and timely change orders.
• Evaluate changes in budget assumptions and pinpoint information gaps, discrepancies, and specific service requirements.
• Liaise with project teams and stakeholders to facilitate the prompt and precise delivery of change orders.
• Organize and conduct change order alignment calls.
• Prepare, edit, and tailor change order documentation, addressing strategic messaging, assumptions, budget summaries, resource changes, and additional financial requirements.
• Integrate vendor and partner change orders into the primary change order.
• Verify the accuracy of assumptions, processes, changes to executed agreements, updates to resources, timeline adjustments, and changes pertaining to country/site/patient.
• Utilize and assess financial formulas, conduct cross-checks, and perform testing to ensure accurate change orders.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in science, finance/accounting, or a related business discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in proposal and/or change order preparation utilizing an Excel-based costing tool and creating change order/contract documents.
• Proficient understanding of project budgets and financial analysis.
• Advanced skills in Excel and a keen eye for detail.
• MBA is preferred.
• Experience in the CRO industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with the project lifecycle and the impact of assumption changes on clinical trial costings, budgets, and financial implications.
• Strong skills in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent financial acumen and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and diverse tasks effectively.
• Quick learner.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, along with effective interpersonal abilities.
• Capacity to develop relationships with management and organizational stakeholders.
