Change Business Partner – MRP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the people-focused implementation of strategic transformations within manufacturing operations.

• Lead and facilitate change initiatives connected to process enhancements and ERP projects, particularly related to standard costing.

• Collaborate with finance, operations, and systems teams to ensure a consistent understanding and application of costing methods.

• Assist operational leaders in transitioning from outdated costing practices to standardized cost models.

• Clarify the effects on reporting, performance measurement, and profitability.

• Foster local team comprehension of standard-cost creation and management, including BOM accuracy, labor and machine rates, and overhead allocation.

• Provide training and capability-building activities to enhance cost awareness and accountability among production and planning teams.

• Connect Global Process Owners, finance teams, and manufacturing sites, translating costing policies into actionable D365 processes.

• Identify deficiencies in costing processes, systems, and reporting, and assist in implementing suitable controls.

• Promote the adoption of new operational methodologies and integrate standard costing into decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in delivering change management within an industrial or manufacturing context.

• Proficiency in guiding to-be processes and operational methods.

• Knowledge and support of best practices in standard costing, encompassing cost build-up, cost drivers, variance analysis, cost updates, and margin management.

• Familiarity with MRP, planning, and warehousing systems.

• Experience in supporting or implementing standard costing frameworks within ERP systems, particularly Microsoft D365, including training, data validation, and cost center alignment.

• Capability to engage both finance and non-finance teams in understanding the operational effects of cost changes, cost performance, and product profitability.

• Demonstrated ability to cultivate relationships and influence frontline teams, middle management, and senior leadership.

• Excellent communication and facilitation skills in both operational and technical contexts.

• Experience with ERP systems such as JD Edwards and Microsoft D365 is highly beneficial.

• Comfortable operating at various levels within the organization.

• Adaptable to changing business requirements.

• Ability to learn and adapt, recognize opportunities for change, and foster positive transformation.

• Change Management or Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) is advantageous.

• At least 5 years of experience in finance management or transformation, or multi-site general management roles within manufacturing or industrial sectors.
