Change Business Partner – Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Lead and facilitate change initiatives associated with process enhancements and ERP projects, with a focus on standard costing.

• Collaborate with finance, operations, and systems teams to ensure that costing methodologies are well understood, consistently applied, and support effective cost control.

• Assist operational leaders in transitioning from traditional costing methods to standardized cost models.

• Clarify the implications for reporting, performance measurement, and profitability.

• Foster an understanding of the creation and maintenance of standard costs, including BOM accuracy, labor and machine rates, and overhead allocation.

• Conduct training and capability-building sessions to promote cost awareness and accountability among production and planning teams.

• Connect Global Process Owners, finance teams, and manufacturing sites.

• Convert costing policy into actionable day-to-day processes within Microsoft D365.

• Identify deficiencies in costing processes, systems, and reporting, and assist in implementing necessary controls.

• Promote the adoption of new operational methods and integrate standard costing into decision-making practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in managing change within an industrial or manufacturing setting.

• Knowledge and leadership of future processes and operational methodologies.

• Familiarity with standard costing concepts, including cost build-up, cost drivers, variance analysis, cost updates, and margin management.

• Understanding of MRP, planning, and warehousing principles.

• Experience in supporting or implementing standard costing frameworks within ERP systems, particularly Microsoft D365.

• Experience with training, data validation, and cost center alignment.

• Ability to engage both finance and non-finance teams regarding cost changes, cost performance, and product profitability.

• Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence frontline teams, middle management, and senior leaders.

• Excellent communication and facilitation skills in both operational and technical environments.

• Familiarity with ERP systems such as JD Edwards or Microsoft D365 is a significant advantage.

• Comfortable operating at various organizational levels.

• Adaptability to meet changing project business requirements.

• Change Management or Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher) is a plus.

• At least 5 years of experience in finance management, transformation, or multi-site general management roles within the manufacturing or industrial sectors.
