Chaldean Interpreter

📋 Description

• Facilitate effective communication between Chaldean and English speakers.

• Process information swiftly and accurately while maintaining professionalism.

• Handle calls in a professional manner in accordance with the interpreter’s code of conduct.

• Possess familiarity with industry-specific vocabulary, particularly in healthcare and medical terminology.

• Engage in internal professional training sessions.

• Communicate and report effectively to the team leader.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in both English and Chaldean.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in interpretation.

• Exceptional listening, retention, and note-taking abilities.

• Capability to accurately convey concepts and meanings as per established interpretation protocols, avoiding omissions or additions.

• Ability to clarify specific cultural concepts to prevent miscommunication, with the client’s permission or upon request.

• 90% proficiency in English.

• Reliable wired internet connection.

• USB wired headset required.

• Compatible with Windows 10 or Mac systems.

• Must have a quiet and secure working environment.

• Language assessment and background checks may be necessary based on location.
