This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Maximize sales potential in both regional and national accounts by achieving or surpassing designated sales targets and budgetary constraints.
• Act as the primary leader for Regional Accounts, overseeing buyer relationships, identifying opportunities for incremental sell-in, and targeting white-space accounts.
• Serve as a liaison between National Accounts On- and Off-Premise teams and individual retail locations.
• Ensure adherence to pricing regulations and the execution of national planning agreements.
• Seek out additional placements and floor space at the local level.
• Meet budgeted sales objectives for the market.
• Communicate and summarize monthly depletion targets and programming schedules with wholesalers.
• Forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual depletions in collaboration with the direct manager.
• Cultivate mutually advantageous relationships with distributor partners.
• Enhance market share by onboarding new accounts, increasing sales with existing accounts, and nurturing key-account relationships.
• Monitor market trends and engage with industry peers and key wholesaler representatives.
• Develop and execute pricing and programming strategies.
• Analyze performance results and propose decisions that strengthen brand equity.
• Recommend and justify budgeting requirements, sales tactics, account base size, pricing strategies, and on/off-premise distribution mix.
• Manage monthly operational and sales budgets effectively.
• Design and oversee distributor incentive programs.
• Ensure the successful implementation of national account programs.
• Track periods of the national Duckhorn program, including Fast Starts.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
• At least 4 years of sales experience in the wine industry, preferably with a luxury brand.
• A minimum of 2 years of sales experience in the national or regional chain sector.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong numerical skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Knowledge of Diver and Dynamics 365 is desirable.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Experience with events and/or banquets is a plus.
• Reliable vehicle required.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Proof of state vehicle registration.
