This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as a pivotal member of the executive leadership team, directly reporting to the CEO.
• Oversee the Finance function of the organization.
• Establish financial and operational frameworks that support rapid revenue growth and long-term viability.
• Transition the company to best practices in controllership and financial oversight.
• Enhance and streamline the monthly closing process.
• Implement stringent cash flow forecasting and improve internal spending and cash management controls.
• Facilitate the integration of add-on acquisitions, including finance systems, HR, and centralized cash management.
• Deliver precise pro-forma financial reporting and capture synergies from integration.
• Develop reporting mechanisms on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, and provide a monthly operational package.
• Collaborate with other departments to quantify and monitor KPIs that drive value creation.
• Design and implement a standardized process for maintaining the reporting package.
• Codify and lead the annual budgeting process.
• Collaborate with the CEO, Chief of Staff, and executive leadership team to refine the 2026 value creation strategy.
• Examine billing and revenue recognition processes and implement enhanced billing systems and transaction processes in conjunction with the technology team.
• Assess the potential for migrating finance systems to upgraded platforms to enhance reporting, analysis quality, and scalability.
• Advise on and execute acquisitions and integrations, make pricing suggestions, and develop business strategies.
• Build a finance team that is tailored to the company's needs.
• Propel the company's growth trajectory through efficient capital allocation.
• Potentially oversee additional functions such as HR, IT, and Administration.
• 7-10+ years of finance leadership experience within a private equity-backed company environment.
• Business to Government (B2G) or government contracting experience is preferred, though not mandatory.
• Strong foundation in accounting and controllership principles.
• Experience with M&A transactions and post-merger integration processes.
• Familiarity with implementing new ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage) in a private equity-backed and resource-constrained setting.
• Extensive expertise in FP&A, cash flow forecasting, and financial modeling.
• Experience in leading compliance, risk management, and reporting to boards and lenders.
• Proven ability to build scalable finance functions and collaborate with private equity-backed companies.
• Strong understanding of automation and billing platforms.
• Hands-on experience with HR oversight and management of third-party HR services.
