CFO Advisory Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Cultivate enduring, collaborative relationships with private equity clients and management teams of portfolio companies.

• Carry out accounting and finance workstreams within a structured engagement framework.

• Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders within the designated scope on a daily basis.

• Assist engagement leadership in the planning, coordination, and delivery of key outputs.

• Contribute to client discussions and presentations, including providing status updates.

• Deliver practical accounting and finance support to companies backed by private equity.

• Aid in post-acquisition integration efforts.

• Enhance financial reporting and closing processes.

• Assist with audit readiness and preparation.

• Conduct analyses of working capital, cash flow, and operational finance.

• Prepare precise, well-organized, client-ready analyses, schedules, and deliverables.

• Oversee assigned workstreams and adhere to established deadlines.

• Engage in communication with Controllers, CFOs, and representatives from private equity.

• Attend client meetings to provide updates and relevant materials.

• Identify potential risks, challenges, or delays and proactively inform engagement leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree is mandatory.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field is required.

• At least 3 years of supervisory experience is necessary.

• Must hold and maintain the required licenses.

• Capability to manage all aspects of client engagements effectively.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels, both internally and externally.

• Proficiency in using relevant technology.

• Willingness to travel based on client and business requirements.

• Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards for private companies.

• CPA or an equivalent professional certification is essential.

• Prior experience in audit, advisory, financial consulting, or operational finance, preferably in a private equity-backed portfolio company setting.

• Exceptional analytical, Excel, and financial modeling capabilities.

• Ability to present financial information clearly and effectively.

• Strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.

• Capacity to operate efficiently in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
