Certified Public Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Assess, organize, and refresh financial records.

• Conduct routine and thorough audits of financial documents, expenditures, and investments.

• Execute daily reconciliations of credit card, bank, cash, and spending accounts.

• Establish financial accounts as required.

• Oversee ledger reconciliations and manage accounts payable and receivable.

• Collaborate with Tax Accountants to monitor tax payments and returns.

• Regularly supervise bookkeeping activities.

• Maintain the confidentiality of company financial information.

• Ensure that vendor accounts are current across the organization.

• Manage inventory effectively.

• Handle purchases from China.

• Provide financial reporting, ensure compliance, and offer strategic financial insights.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.

• A Bachelor’s/College Degree in a relevant discipline is required.

• Demonstrated experience as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

• Ideally, candidates should have experience in accounting/finance with a focus on the US Accounting System.

• Proficient in accounting applications, modules, and financial statements.

• Driven to exceed expectations while working independently.

• A friendly, quick learner who can adapt to change and possesses a proactive mindset.

• Skilled in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Google, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Teams, and similar tools.

• Experience in the Procurement and Logistics industry is advantageous.

• Minimum requirement of a 5th generation Intel i5 processor or equivalent.

• At least 4.00 GB of computer memory/RAM is required.

• Operating system should be Windows 10 or Mac OSX; Linux, Unix, or other operating systems are not acceptable.

• Internet speed of 5.0 MBPS or higher for both primary and backup connections is necessary.

• A noise-cancelling headset that connects via USB port is required.

• A webcam with a minimum of 3 megapixels capable of 720p recording is required.
