This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and communicate industrial hygiene sampling strategies.
• Execute quantitative industrial hygiene evaluations at client locations.
• Gather and analyze industrial hygiene data using statistical techniques.
• Draft and assess technical reports, memoranda, and presentations.
• Conduct reviews and critiques of relevant literature.
• Guide clients on the development of industrial hygiene programs, control solutions, and containment measures.
• Perform both qualitative and quantitative exposure and risk evaluations.
• Advise clients on the design of facilities and equipment to ensure employee safety.
• Collaborate with team members to create effective industrial hygiene strategies.
• Engage in business development activities.
• Assist multiple clients and projects in assessing occupational chemical exposures and possible health risks.
• Offer exposure control suggestions to clients.
• Work collaboratively on most projects while independently managing certain assignments.
• Interact with clients and present or publish findings at scientific conferences and in peer-reviewed journals.
• Advanced degree in toxicology, pharmacology, biology, chemistry, environmental health, or a related field.
• More than 5 years of experience in industrial hygiene.
• Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) credential in good standing or eligibility and intention to pursue certification.
• Previous experience in developing industrial hygiene programs and assessment strategies for various sites or processes.
• Experience in conducting industrial hygiene program audits is a plus.
• Proven ability to prepare technical work products, including report writing and performing/reviewing industrial hygiene assessments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Capability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers.
• Successful history of employment screening, degree verification, and federal, state, and county criminal background and Watch List checks.
