Certified Home Health Aide

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver personal care services, including bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, and skin care.

• Assist with mobility, exercises, and range-of-motion activities in accordance with the care plan.

• Support patients during meals, including preparation and feeding assistance when necessary.

• Take and document vital signs as instructed.

• Aid patients in the self-administration of medications.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for the patient.

• Monitor patients and report any changes in their condition to the supervising nurse.

• Record care provided in line with organizational standards.

• Perform additional tasks as needed to ensure patient services are met.

• Offer hands-on support directly in patients’ homes under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid Californian Certified Home Health Aide certificate.

• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

• A valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle with insurance.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Ability to read, understand written instructions, and accurately document care provided.

• Comfortable working independently with minimal oversight.

• Genuine empathy and patience for patients who are ill, injured, or frail.

• Professional demeanor, tactful communication, and adherence to personal hygiene standards.
