Certified Home Health Aide

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver personal care services including bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, and skin care.

• Assist with mobility, exercises, and range-of-motion activities in accordance with the care plan.

• Support patients during meals, including meal preparation and feeding assistance when necessary.

• Measure and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure, as instructed.

• Aid patients in self-administering their medications.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for the patient.

• Monitor patients and report any changes in their condition to the supervising nurse.

• Document the care provided in compliance with organizational standards.

• Carry out additional duties as required for patient services.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid Californian Certified Home Health Aide certificate.

• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

• A valid driver's license along with an insured and reliable vehicle.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Capable of reading, following written instructions, and accurately documenting care.

• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.

• Possess genuine empathy and patience for patients who are ill, injured, or frail.

• Professional, tactful, and attentive to personal hygiene standards.

• Registration with the CA Home Care Aide Registry (Department of Social Services) is a plus.
