Certified Home Health Aide

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver personal care services, including bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, and skin care.

• Assist patients with mobility, exercises, and range-of-motion activities as outlined in the care plan.

• Aid patients with meals, from preparation to providing feeding assistance as needed.

• Measure and document vital signs as instructed.

• Support patients in self-administering their medications.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for the patient.

• Monitor patients and report any changes in their condition to the supervising nurse.

• Record care provided in accordance with organizational standards.

• Perform additional duties as required to support patient services.

• Offer direct hands-on support to patients in their homes under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid Californian Certified Home Health Aide certificate.

• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).

• A valid driver's license accompanied by an insured and reliable vehicle.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Capable of reading, comprehending written instructions, and documenting care accurately.

• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.

• Exhibits genuine empathy and patience towards patients who are ill, injured, or frail.

• Professional demeanor, tactful, and attentive to personal hygiene standards.

• Registration with the CA Home Care Aide Registry (Department of Social Services) is a plus.
