Certified Home Health Aide

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver personal care services such as bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, and skin care.

• Assist with mobility, exercises, and range-of-motion activities as outlined in the care plan.

• Aid patients during meals, including meal preparation and feeding assistance when necessary.

• Measure and document vital signs as instructed.

• Support patients in self-administering their medications.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for the patient.

• Monitor patients and communicate any changes in their condition to the supervising nurse.

• Record the care provided in accordance with organizational protocols.

• Carry out additional duties as needed for patient services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Certification as a Home Health Aide in California.

• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

• Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to an insured, reliable vehicle.

• Minimum age of 18 years.

• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and accurately document care.

• Comfort in working independently with minimal oversight.

• Authentic empathy and patience for patients who are ill, injured, or in frail health.

• Professional demeanor, tactful approach, and attentiveness to personal hygiene standards.

• Registration with the CA Home Care Aide Registry (Department of Social Services) is a plus.
