Certified Home Health Aide

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Deliver personal care such as bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, dressing, and skin care.

• Assist with mobility, exercise routines, and range-of-motion activities as outlined in the care plan.

• Aid patients with meal preparation and provide feeding assistance when necessary.

• Measure and document vital signs as instructed.

• Support patients in self-administering their medications.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for the patient.

• Monitor patients and communicate any changes in their condition to the supervising nurse.

• Record the care provided in line with organizational protocols.

• Carry out additional duties as required for patient services.

⛳️ Requirements

• A valid Californian Certified Home Health Aide certificate.

• Current CPR certification from the AHA.

• A valid driver’s license and a reliable, insured vehicle.

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and accurately document care.

• Comfortable working autonomously with minimal supervision.

• Demonstrate genuine empathy and patience for patients who are ill, injured, or frail.

• Maintain professionalism, tact, and adhere to personal hygiene standards.

• Registration with the CA Home Care Aide Registry (Dept. of Social Services) is a plus.
