This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Execute inbound and outbound engagement calls to educate eligible participants about the program and facilitate their enrollment.
• Deliver personalized behavior-change coaching aimed at minimizing or eliminating high-risk behaviors while promoting healthier lifestyle choices.
• Conduct outbound follow-up calls to enrolled members who do not have a scheduled appointment.
• Collaborate with nurses and external vendors within a multidisciplinary care team to coordinate services and care.
• Assist in fulfilling operational requirements for designated areas and clients.
• Manage schedules and caseloads to ensure productive member interactions.
• Engage in daily and monthly meetings to share findings and insights.
• Record and monitor member progress as well as the effectiveness of the program.
• Utilize documentation software to log member interactions and communicate through chat.
• Contribute to enhancing participant health and wellness while mitigating identified health risks.
• Report directly to the Manager of Coaching Operations.
• Must be flexible to work any shift from Monday to Friday between 10:30am and 9:00pm CST.
• Required to work every fourth Saturday from 8:00am to 4:30pm CST.
• Attendance is mandatory for all days during the six-week training period.
• Completion of training from a program certified by the NBHWC is required.
• Active board certification in Wellness Coaching from NBHWC is a plus.
• A Bachelor's degree in a health-related discipline such as Psychology, Nutrition, or Exercise Science is required.
• Experience in using chat for delivering coaching sessions is an advantage.
• Familiarity with benchmarks and metrics in a contact center environment is preferred, including adherence to schedule.
• Proficient in computer data entry and Microsoft Office applications.
• Capability to manage telephonic communication while simultaneously navigating software and entering data for extended durations.
• Knowledge of lifestyle-related subjects, including smoking cessation, weight management, nutrition, exercise, stress reduction, and sleep, is desired.
• Ability to work autonomously and prioritize a moderate workload with minimal oversight.
• Flexibility to adapt to schedule changes.
• Competence in multitasking with members, managers, and support staff.
• A hard-wired internet connection is required; Wi-Fi is not allowed.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Effectiveness in coaching using motivational interviewing techniques.
• Attention to detail is crucial when documenting participant interactions.
• An hourly rate of $21.50 or $25, contingent upon certification through NBC-HWC or CHES only.
