This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri, +2 more states.
β’ Conduct surveys and analyses of challenges faced by both potential and current clients in the Emerging, Enterprise, and Middle Market sectors.
β’ Assess, evaluate, and appraise situations for clients dealing with loss issues.
β’ Formulate appropriate recommendations aimed at enhancing client safety and loss prevention.
β’ Provide expert and technical consulting services related to safety.
β’ Identify loss-related concerns and propose strategies for establishing and sustaining safe work environments.
β’ Educate clients and offer resources to promote safety awareness.
β’ Ensure compliance with Company and Department standards, policies, and guidelines.
β’ Design, implement, and coordinate loss prevention safety protocols and return-to-work initiatives.
β’ Supervise client surveys, evaluations, program frameworks, and safety manuals within the designated territory.
β’ Serve as a liaison between Property and Casualty Products and Services and businesses categorized as moderate to high risk.
β’ Conduct inspections at assigned client locations as necessary.
β’ Collaborate with Regional Managers for clients located outside the personal service area.
β’ Engage with Company departments, workers' compensation claims adjusters, and personnel focused on insurance loss prevention.
β’ Manage the budget allocated for the designated client portfolio.
β’ Offer consulting support to Insperity staff regarding occupational health and safety matters.
β’ A High School Diploma or equivalent is essential.
β’ A minimum of ten years of proven experience in safety services in a comparable role is required.
β’ Certification as a Safety Professional (CSP) or other accredited safety-related certification is strongly preferred.
β’ A valid driver's license in the state of residence, with no more than two major violations and one chargeable accident within the last three years, is necessary.
β’ Understanding of workers' compensation principles, practices, and procedures is required.
β’ Familiarity with safety programs, including their implementation, maintenance, review, and updating.
β’ Knowledge of general business insurance principles, practices, and procedures.
β’ Awareness of OSHA compliance standards and regulations, including those pertaining to noise, air quality, testing, and chemical handling.
β’ Capability to analyze and assess safety procedures across multiple industries and identify areas of concern.
β’ Ability to independently manage tasks while adhering to timelines, quality consulting, and production standards.
β’ Proficiency in MS Windows software and laptop utilization.
β’ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
β’ Ability to foster effective working relationships.
β’ Capacity to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally or up to 25 pounds frequently.
β’ Willingness to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions and potentially hazardous environments, including exposure to chemical manufacturing and oil-gas operations.
β’ Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
