This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Achieve established sales, account, and performance goals while upholding the highest standards of compliance and patient-centricity.
• Take ownership of the overall commercial strategy, performance, and execution for designated treatment centers and their related referral networks.
• Create and implement detailed, account-specific business plans that align with both national and regional commercial objectives.
• Identify opportunities to enhance appropriate patient identification, referral, and treatment within designated accounts.
• Analyze account dynamics, referral patterns, patient flows, competitive activities, and market trends to uncover opportunities and challenges.
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of the autoimmune treatment landscape, cell therapy, and Kyverna's clinical and commercial value proposition.
• Cultivate trusted relationships with key stakeholders across neurology, Hem/Onc cell therapy experts, and other pertinent specialties.
• Navigate intricate academic medical centers, integrated delivery networks, community practices, and referral networks.
• Recognize and tackle barriers to appropriate patient identification, referral, access, and treatment.
• Act as a knowledgeable and responsive commercial resource for assigned accounts.
• Identify and chart patient referral pathways within autoimmune disease networks.
• Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to mitigate barriers throughout the patient journey.
• Assist treatment centers and referring networks in comprehending cell therapy operational requirements.
• Establish connections and processes between referring physicians and authorized treatment centers.
• Support treatment-center readiness, including patient referral, treatment, scheduling, and coordination processes.
• Enhance patient experience by understanding the entire cell therapy patient journey.
• Work alongside Market Access, Patient Services, Operations, Medical Affairs, Clinical, and other departments.
• Lead account discussions and coordinate internal resources based on the priorities of accounts.
• Share insights on customer needs, account dynamics, competitive developments, referral trends, and market opportunities.
• Influence the allocation and prioritization of internal resources without direct authority.
• Identify emerging treatment paradigms, referral trends, competitive dynamics, and changes in the healthcare environment.
• Convert customer and market insights into actionable recommendations for leadership.
• Engage in scientific, industry, and customer forums.
• Carry out activities in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate account plans, customer data, activity documentation, and business intelligence.
• Exhibit sound judgment in complex situations involving customers and patients.
• A Bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• Over 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, specialty pharmaceutical, or complex healthcare sales/commercial roles.
• Background in autoimmune disease, rheumatology, neurology, immunology, rare disease, specialty medicine, or cell therapy.
• Proven success in managing large, complex healthcare accounts with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Experience working with academic medical centers, community practices, integrated delivery networks, or other intricate healthcare systems.
• Established ability to develop and implement strategic account plans.
• Demonstrated skill in identifying and influencing key stakeholders across complex organizations.
• Strong understanding of the patient journey and the ability to recognize opportunities to enhance patient identification, referral, access, and treatment.
• Experience with cell therapy, CAR-T, or other complex therapies is strongly preferred.
• Launch experience in a specialty, rare disease, autoimmune, or cell therapy environment is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to lead and influence without direct authority.
• Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and strategic planning abilities with exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• High level of scientific and technical proficiency, capable of engaging credibly with healthcare professionals.
• Solid understanding of U.S. healthcare compliance requirements.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and nationally as necessary, possessing a valid driver's license.
• Experience with buy-and-bill, reimbursement, specialty pharmacy, or other complex access models.
