This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and provide leadership for the CDI and Quality business line.
• Enhance operational effectiveness and improve service delivery to clients as well as within the CDI and Quality business unit.
• Create and present educational materials.
• Conduct and lead CDI assessments and audits.
• Oversee the CDI and Quality business units, teams, and/or initiatives.
• Offer expertise and consulting services in CDI, Quality, HIM, coding, and compliance.
• Develop CDI tips and educational content.
• Gather client feedback to strengthen ongoing business relationships.
• Collaborate with Leadership on product delivery processes.
• Engage in team building, operational enhancements, and professional development.
• Provide initial and continuous training for CDI staff at client sites.
• Communicate and support clients as necessary.
• Uphold confidentiality, security, and ethical standards.
• Manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, organize work, and fulfill responsibilities accurately within deadlines.
• Travel to field sites may be required up to 15% of the time.
• A current RN nursing license is required.
• A BSN is preferred.
• Current ACDIS CCDS or AHIMA CDIP certification is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of clinical documentation experience in an acute care facility is required.
• At least 2 years of second-level review, auditing, and/or leadership experience is required.
• Proficient coding skills with a working knowledge of ICD-10-CM and PCS, as well as payment methodologies.
• A minimum of 2 years of remote working experience is required.
• Consulting experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills to assess the medical record clinically.
• Ability to independently utilize multiple computer applications for medical record review.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Effective communication skills with e4health management and all levels of client personnel.
• Excellent organization and prioritization abilities.
• Strong writing, speaking, and analytical skills.
