CBRNE Technician – Engineer Technical Services 3

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Provide technical program and equipment expertise for COTS and GOTS CBRN equipment in support of the Senior Field Service Representative.

• Assist with logistics and maintenance support for COTS CBRN equipment, both on-site at unit locations and off-site in warehouses.

• Conduct inspections and functional tests on equipment.

• Carry out corrective and preventive maintenance tasks.

• Manage inventories and offer instructional guidance regarding the equipment.

• Aid in the obsolescence management processes.

• Support equipment fielding and recovery operations.

• Maintain an up-to-date catalog of equipment set Bills of Material (BOM).

• Assist with documentation efforts, including After Action Reviews and checklists.

• Generate and monitor work orders within a logistics information system.

• Develop and revise equipment maintenance schedules.

• Troubleshoot equipment issues on-site as needed.

• Expect to travel approximately 70% of the year.

• Support the Army Defense CBRN Response Force mission.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; or 3 years of relevant experience with a Master’s degree in a related field; or 0 years of experience with a PhD or Juris Doctorate in a related field; or a High School Diploma or equivalent with 9 years of relevant experience.

• At least 5 years of experience as a CBRNE Technician.

• Capable of working in both warehouse and field environments.

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

• Familiarity with the CBRN Response Enterprise (CRE) mission is preferred.

• Knowledge of CRE mission equipment is preferred.

• Understanding of emergency management principles is preferred.

• Familiarity with NIOSH, CAP I, and ensemble regulations is preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.

• Experience with logistics information systems is preferred.

• No security clearance is required.
