This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Develop and sustain business relationships with third-party service providers involved in clinical trials.
• Execute Worldwide’s vendor governance program strategy.
• Track, evaluate, and report on compliance and effectiveness of the vendor governance program.
• Assist study teams in addressing vendor performance challenges.
• Aid in the resolution of vendor-related quality incidents and supervise the implementation of CAPA plans.
• Assess and measure vendor performance through scorecards, satisfaction surveys, and KPIs provided by vendors.
• Document, analyze, and report on strategies and fundamental vendor performance.
• Encourage collaboration among vendors and cultivate a unified team culture aimed at achieving operational excellence.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement with key and critical vendors.
• Apply performance metrics based on service categories for standardized oversight of category management.
• Organize and promote training and workshops led by vendors.
• Assist with vendor evaluations and monitor the status of assessments, qualifications, and audit certificates.
• Represent Vendor Management during Sponsor qualification audits.
• Oversee and manage risks associated with outsourced services through Vendor Risk Mitigation Plans.
• Undertake additional tasks that support Vendor Management Leadership.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization on a global scale.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience with Trackwise, Salesforce, Sciforma, or similar database systems is advantageous.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential.
• Capability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet strict deadlines.
• Experience in managing vendor performance and related improvement initiatives.
• Knowledge and practical application of continuous improvement methodologies and lean manufacturing principles.
• Ability to resolve issues at both executive and operational levels.
• High level of accuracy and the capacity to deliver within tight timeframes.
• BA/BS degree in Business Administration or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in vendor management is required.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical/CRO industry is preferred.
