This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
β’ Take full responsibility for category management for partners outside of Amazon.
β’ Oversee the launch pipeline, category forecasting, and performance metrics.
β’ Collaborate with Operations to collect and confirm SKU-level details, production feasibility, and fulfillment needs for new product launches.
β’ Lead the adoption of the NPI workflow, which is currently being piloted on Jira, transitioning from pilot to a standard process.
β’ Create and sustain forecasts for volume, revenue, and margins at the category level.
β’ Extend forecasts to a weekly granularity and monitor actual results against projections.
β’ Assist with product lifecycle management execution, including managing PLM independently when the Senior Category Manager is unavailable.
β’ Facilitate cross-functional alignment among Channel, Operations, Product Owners, Production, and Fulfillment teams.
β’ Establish and oversee category KPIs, proactively identifying risks.
β’ Report on category performance, forecasts, and risks to the Senior Category Manager and broader leadership as the scope evolves.
β’ Collaborate with the Senior Category Manager on overall category strategy and execution on Amazon.
β’ A minimum of 3 years of experience in category management, ecommerce, or a related commercial field.
β’ Proven experience managing a product portfolio and/or launch pipeline.
β’ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
β’ Data-driven and organized, with the ability to identify risks early and manage performance proactively.
β’ Skilled in using AI tools and LLMs for market and competitive analysis, category reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
β’ Preferred: familiarity with Amazon's AI-powered seller tools, including Brand Analytics, Search Query Performance, and Assortment Opportunity Explorer.
β’ Experience in coordinating activities across Operations, Fulfillment, Finance, Merchandising, Creative, Advertising, Pricing, Product, and Analytics teams.
β’ Proficiency in English is required.
β’ Knowledge of German, French, Italian, or Spanish is advantageous.
