This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Develop and execute comprehensive e-commerce category strategies that align with business goals and online sales objectives.
• Collaborate with merchandising and purchasing teams to influence product selection and enhance productivity.
• Ensure that merchandising adheres to best practices and is implemented promptly for a seamless shopping experience.
• Work alongside Digital Experience teams to troubleshoot issues and enhance site performance.
• Maintain effective product categorization, filtering, and navigation for users.
• Collaborate with ISU to implement necessary changes.
• Guarantee the accuracy and consistency of product information across all online platforms.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on category and brand performance metrics, including sales figures, conversion rates, average order value, traffic, and bounce rates.
• Keep an eye on competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Ensure alignment between online and offline strategies with buying and merchandising teams.
• Guarantee optimal product availability at all times.
• Implement website improvements and resolve technical issues in collaboration with digital experience teams.
• Manage ad hoc requests, present findings, and provide recommendations that inform strategic decisions.
• Transform large data sets into clear insights that drive actionable outcomes.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in category management, ideally in an e-commerce setting.
• Background in retail buying, merchandising, or digital marketing is also considered advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-commerce, or a related discipline.
• Strong comprehension of e-commerce platforms, their functionalities, and industry best practices.
• Exceptional analytical abilities to interpret data, derive conclusions, and formulate actionable recommendations.
• Strong organizational capabilities with the ability to handle multiple projects at once.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
