Catastrophe Field Auto Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Travel nationwide to evaluate vehicle damage and assist customers during catastrophic incidents.

• Review insurance coverage, investigate claims, and document findings.

• Prepare or verify repair estimates using leading industry tools.

• Negotiate and resolve moderately complex claims.

• Document detailed notes, decisions, and relevant documentation in the claims system.

• Balance virtual tasks and on-site inspections, with 70% of the work in the field and 30% conducted virtually.

• Follow a 10-day work schedule followed by 4 days off, with 12-hour shifts throughout the year.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in claims or auto damage is preferred.

• Proficient in estimating software such as CCC or Mitchell.

• Understanding of vehicle repair methods, including paintless dent repair.

• Strong skills in analysis, negotiation, and conflict resolution.

• Ability to operate independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• A minimum internet speed of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload is required for remote employees.

• A dedicated, private workspace that is free from distractions, equipped with an appropriate desk and seating.

• Reliable internet connection with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload.

• Candidates offered this role must undergo a background check.

• An adjuster and/or appraiser license may be necessary within 60 days of hiring, if applicable.

• This position is not open to residents of Puerto Rico, California, Alaska, or Hawaii.
