This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Gather and input data for merchant ID establishment and bank account creation.
• Oversee the merchant ID setup process, alert Treasury of any issues or delays, and coordinate the installation of cash register software.
• Establish access to the Digital Deposit System (DTS).
• Provide troubleshooting support for cash registers, payment processing, and deposit issues via telephone.
• Recreate requests for deposit pickups.
• Collaborate with Treasury, Corporate AR, Divisional IT, PSC Supervisors/Managers, and Phlebotomy to address banking and balancing challenges.
• Review weekly divisional audit files to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Report and investigate instances of missing funds.
• Resolve issues noted in daily/weekly exception reports using LCBS, LCLS, and PEP.
• Process adjustments, request postings for missed payments, correct pricing discrepancies, and approve patient billing.
• Create and maintain training materials and standard operating procedures for Patients Easy Pay and DTS.
• Suggest training opportunities for end users.
• Identify connectivity and equipment challenges impacting Patient Easy Pay.
• Offer installation, technical support, and guidance for the Patient Easy Pay cash register application.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent along with 3 years of experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management or Labcorp IT Support.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5 or more years of experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management and IT Support (preferred).
• Familiarity with remote software usage and understanding (preferred).
• Experience with RCM Systems and IT Support (preferred).
• Background in Network or Application Support (preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to evaluate, recommend/fix application issues, and develop necessary processes to support application usage.
• Exceptional interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills.
• Ability to articulate complex procedures effectively and succinctly, both verbally and in writing.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Extensive experience with Excel, Word, Outlook, Windows functionality, LCLS, and LCBS.
