This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Gather and input data for setting up merchant IDs and creating bank accounts

• Oversee the merchant ID setup process, alert Treasury of any issues or delays, and manage the installation of cash register software

• Establish access to the Digital Deposit System (DTS)

• Provide telephone support to troubleshoot cash register, payment processing, and deposit issues

• Recreate requests for deposit pickups

• Collaborate with Treasury, Corporate AR, Divisional IT, PSC Supervisors/Managers, and Phlebotomy to address banking and balancing challenges

• Analyze weekly divisional audit files for adherence to company policies, procedures, and internal controls

• Investigate and report on any missing funds

• Address concerns raised in daily and weekly exception reports

• Conduct research on exception items in LCBS, LCLS, and PEP cash registers

• Process adjustments, request postings for missed payments, rectify pricing issues, and approve patient billing for reflex testing or balance billing

• Develop and maintain training materials and standard operating procedures for Patients Easy Pay and DTS

• Suggest training opportunities to PSC Supervisors/Managers

• Identify connectivity and equipment challenges with Divisional IT

• Offer installation, technical support, and guidance for the Patient Easy Pay cash register application


⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent, along with 3 years of experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management or Labcorp IT Support

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management and IT Support

• Proficient in remote software operation and comprehension

• Experience with RCM Systems and IT Support

• Knowledge in Network or Application Support

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Outstanding interpersonal, coaching, and communication skills

• Proficient computer skills

• Extensive experience with Excel, Word, Outlook, Windows functionality, LCLS, and LCBS

• Previous experience with remote software in a help desk setting is advantageous
