Cash Operations Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Oversee, reconcile, and enhance daily cash positions, banking transactions, and liquidity management.

• Accurately allocate and document cash payments across various accounts.

• Ensure the completeness of accounting records and reconciliation of transactions and associated accounts.

• Generate and park journal entries in the general ledger linked to bank statement activities.

• Manage relationships and accounting transactions related to banking operations.

• Execute financial accounting and cash operations necessary for month-end closures.

• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations accompanied by supporting documentation.

• Take ownership of balance sheet general ledger accounts and their monthly reconciliations.

• Address historical cash-related inquiries.

• Report on departmental performance and process key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Handle audit and tax inquiries by providing necessary accounting explanations and documentation.

• Collaborate with Accounting, Treasury, Accounts Payable, and payroll teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience in treasury operations, accounting, or banking.

• Practical experience with bank reconciliations.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and business concepts.

• Familiarity with core financial accounting standards, policies, processes, and systems.

• Excellent numerical and analytical abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

• Strong work ethic with the capability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

• Ability to juggle multiple projects and stakeholder demands while adhering to deadlines.

• Comfort and proficiency in utilizing AI tools to aid in reconciliation, reporting, and daily productivity is a significant advantage.

• Basic knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology is a plus.

• Must currently reside in Latin America (LATAM) or Europe.
