Cash Collection Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform daily outbound collection activities by reaching out to delinquent customers about overdue balances and securing payment commitments.

• Negotiate and set up payment arrangements in line with Zoetis Credit Policy.

• Maintain positive relationships with customers while managing collection efforts and reducing aged receivables.

• Investigate and follow up on customer disputes, deductions, late payments, and other invoice resolution issues.

• Collaborate with the Credit Team to review customer accounts, liaise with Sales Representatives, and identify accounts needing credit holds.

• Work alongside Customer Service, Cash Application, Master Data, Tax, Sales, and Zoetis Loyalty teams to address payment-related challenges.

• Identify high-risk and problematic accounts, escalating unresolved issues to the Credit Lead Associate and Credit & Collection Manager.

• Assist in collection activities involving external collection agencies when necessary.

• Conduct Quarterly Old Items List reviews, manage Credit Card Auto Pay declines, follow up on E-Check rejections, and resolve EZPay rejections.

• Accurately and timely report financial metrics while achieving established KPIs and SLAs.

• Support the accounts receivable collection process for the Zoetis U.S. customer portfolio.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or its equivalent.

• At least one (1) year of experience in Accounts Receivable or Collections.

• Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.

• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.

• Proficiency in reconciliation tasks.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple responsibilities.

• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.

• Capability to work collaboratively across various departments and functions.

• Comfortable managing challenging collection conversations while maintaining professionalism.

• Open to working in EST and CST Time Zones.

• Must possess or secure authorization to work in the US for Zoetis.

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Preferred: Experience with SAP.

• Preferred: Background in a high-volume collections or shared services environment.

• Preferred: Experience in B2B Collections.
