This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee designated projects and/or cases within the Specialty Services Department.
• Offer telephone assistance via call-center programs to patients, healthcare providers, and funding organizations.
• Support funding and access challenges, which include private, public, and special access programs, as well as compliance initiatives.
• Administer and comply with case-management protocols, encompassing clinical monitoring, data gathering, continuous patient follow-up, compliance, therapy interruption/discontinuation oversight, adverse event reporting, and collaboration with primary healthcare providers.
• Execute market research initiatives related to pharmaceuticals and biotechnology with physicians, patients, pharmacists, and other health professionals.
• Conduct a substantial volume of outbound calls for patient programs.
• Record each activity in the program-specific database.
• Participate in refresher training and specialized product training sessions.
• Provide insights on protocols, databases, processes, and inter-departmental relations.
• Convey case-management information to the manager, pod, and program-trained colleagues during absences.
• Engage in training new caseworkers, including shadowing and call monitoring activities.
• Report all adverse events to the designated units/departments.
• Carry out additional duties and tasks as assigned.
• Extensive training in business administration, accounting, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or related fields, typically acquired through the completion of a two-year associate's degree or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
• At least one (1) year of experience in customer service.
• Bilingual (French/English) is an advantage.
• Capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in the medical and pharmaceutical sectors is a plus.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Advanced understanding of the pharmaceutical distribution industry.
• Familiarity with automated warehouse operating systems.
• Strong business and financial insight.
• Robust analytical and mathematical skills.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities.
