This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with injured employees, employers, and healthcare providers to develop effective case management strategies.

• Support medical recovery and facilitate a successful return to work through advocacy, effective communication, and coordination of medical services.

• Conduct initial and ongoing clinical assessments via telephone.

• Assess injuries, medical treatments, psychosocial needs, cultural factors, and support systems.

• Build and maintain relationships with claims examiners, clients, injured workers, attorneys, and supervisors.

• Identify issues related to delayed recovery and return-to-work, and create solutions.

• Negotiate treatment plans and disability duration with providers, adhering to medical and disability-duration guidelines.

• Discover opportunities to expedite care for cost efficiency and timely recovery.

• Suggest alternative clinical resources to aid in claim resolution.

• Uphold client privacy and confidentiality, promote safety and advocacy, and adhere to ethical, legal, accreditation, and regulatory standards.


⛳️ Requirements

• An active, unrestricted RN license(s) in a state or territory of the United States is mandatory.

• A Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience is preferred.

• Certification in case management, rehabilitation nursing, or a related specialty is highly preferred.

• Knowledge and experience in medical/clinical or rehabilitation settings.

• Capability to manage work-related stress effectively.

• Ability to handle multiple priorities at once.

• Proficiency in meeting deadlines.

• Competence in computer keyboard use.

• Adequate hearing, vision, and verbal communication skills.
