Case Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nicaragua.

📋 Description

• Assume responsibility for designated personal injury cases from the post-intake phase through to settlement and case closure.

• Initiate insurance claims, liaise with carriers, and verify or confirm applicable policy limits.

• Facilitate medical treatment and assist clients in connecting with suitable providers or specialists.

• Oversee treatment progress and manage cases with a clear understanding of available insurance coverage and policy limits.

• Request, collect, monitor, and evaluate medical records, bills, insurance documents, and other essential case materials.

• Determine necessary next actions for each case and ensure timely progression without unnecessary delays.

• Maintain ongoing communication with clients, medical providers, insurance representatives, and members of the internal team.

• Organize cases for demand by compiling documentation and aiding in or drafting demand packages and letters.

• Assist in advancing settlements, including policy-limit tenders, and prepare files for closure.

• Provide support with lien reductions when required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Previous hands-on experience in U.S. personal injury pre-litigation case management.

• Strong working knowledge of the complete personal injury pre-litigation lifecycle, with a preference for candidates with 3+ years of experience.

• Demonstrated ability to independently initiate, develop, progress, settle, and finalize personal injury cases.

• Experience in opening insurance claims, assessing coverage, and verifying or confirming policy limits.

• In-depth knowledge of medical treatment coordination, medical records and billing, and ongoing case development.

• Experience in preparing personal injury cases for demand, including the organization of documentation and assistance with or drafting demand packages.

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Dependability and sound judgment to work autonomously with minimal oversight.

• Experience in negotiating or assisting with lien reductions is a plus.

• Familiarity with Clio or a similar legal case management platform is advantageous.

• Experience managing policy-limit tenders and settlement documentation is a plus.
