Case Entry Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Transcribe client information from EMRs into the necessary electronic format and verify the accuracy of the completed work.

• Oversee shared inboxes and internal request dashboards.

• Receive and document incoming communications such as emails, calls, tickets, or voicemails.

• Follow up with clients or internal personnel via email or phone to gather additional information.

• Export and upload documents into CorroHealth’s proprietary system.

• Engage in cross-training for various departmental functions to assist other teams as required.

• Carry out additional duties as assigned by management.

• Provide support for healthcare operations and Revenue Cycle services for healthcare providers.

⛳️ Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• Previous experience accessing hospital EMRs is preferred.

• Familiarity with Salesforce is advantageous.

• Proficient in essential computer applications including Outlook, MS Teams, Internet Search Engines, and possess accurate keyboard skills.

• Ability to navigate between multiple screens efficiently.

• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for accuracy.

• Self-motivated and proactive.

• Demonstrates initiative and responsibility in resolving issues.

• Consistently meets or exceeds quality standards.

• Capable of working independently while also being a cooperative team member.

• Highly organized and action-focused.

• Exceptional critical thinking abilities.

• Maintains strict adherence to HIPAA/HITECH compliance regulations.

• Capable of performing work at a computer terminal for 6-8 hours daily.

• Able to lift and move materials weighing up to 20 lbs. occasionally.
