Carwash Maintenance Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Conduct preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on car wash equipment and facility systems.

• Identify and fix issues in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and chemical delivery systems.

• Install, maintain, and replace conveyors, pumps, motors, blowers, dryers, water treatment equipment, and associated components.

• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and emergency service calls.

• Travel throughout a designated district utilizing a company vehicle.

• Prioritize preventive maintenance and service requests to reduce downtime.

• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.

• Adhere to OSHA regulations, company safety standards, and lockout/tagout procedures.

• Record work performed, labor, and parts utilized via the work order system.

• Communicate repair progress with supervisors, site personnel, vendors, and support teams.

• Engage in on-call rotations and perform additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.

• Minimum of three (3) years of maintenance experience is required.

• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

• Must be able to pass necessary background, drug, and motor vehicle screenings.

• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including emergency call-outs.

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.

• Proficient in reading wiring diagrams and schematics.

• Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, water treatment, and chemical systems.

• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

• Basic computer skills for work order management.

• Capability to lift up to 100 pounds.

• Ability to climb ladders and operate at heights.

• Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• Technical training is preferred.

• Experience with industrial, commercial, manufacturing, or service equipment is preferred.

• Experience with tunnel car wash equipment is strongly preferred.
