Carrier Ops Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Operations teams to gain insights into workflows and discover areas for enhancement and automation.

• Aid in the evaluation and implementation of automation and AI tools to optimize repetitive tasks and facilitate decision-making.

• Explore AI tools to compose communications, summarize data, and assist with internal processes.

• Support small-scale AI and automation pilot projects and refine them based on feedback received.

• Monitor and report on time savings, efficiency improvements, and the impact of initiatives.

• Detect potential shipment delays and operational challenges.

• Liaise with internal teams regarding operational matters, shipments, and flight delays.

• Ensure accurate maintenance of shipment records, including tracking numbers, delivery confirmations, and incident reports.

• Act as the primary contact for vendor and carrier inquiries.

• Review and submit required documentation to delivery partner carriers.

• Investigate issues related to parcels and vendors through various channels.

• Input, assess, and rectify KPI data for multiple vendors.

• Generate reports and resolve issues as they arise.

• Coordinate tasks, monitor progress, and follow up on deliverables for internal operational projects.

• Oversee timelines and provide updates to stakeholders.

• Offer process feedback and collect information for internal systems and projects.

• Develop and maintain SOPs, checklists, and documentation for AI processes.

• Monitor emails on a daily basis and manage a task list to ensure data remains current.

• Capability to swiftly learn new systems and utilize them effectively.

• Willingness to adhere to a fixed schedule and remain responsive during designated hours.

• Strong organizational abilities and proficiency in managing a daily task list.

• Excellent and proactive communication skills.

• Competence in analyzing data, identifying errors, rectifying inconsistencies, and ensuring accurate KPI maintenance.

• Enthusiasm for automation and AI tools, such as Parabola, App Scripts, GPT-based assistants, ChatGPT, and copilots.

• Skill in creating and maintaining SOPs while clearly documenting processes.

• Ability to work autonomously while staying responsive to the team.

• Availability to work Monday–Friday, from 9 AM–5 PM Eastern or 12 PM–8 PM Eastern.
