This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Deliver outstanding service and demonstrate empathy to callers regarding claims across various lines of business.
• Accelerate the claims process while providing thorough documentation of all calls.
• Address issues with a one-call/one-person resolution approach.
• Route calls to the appropriate escalation paths when necessary.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for callers from multiple client accounts within a shared services setting.
• Assist with inquiries and resolve challenges related to claims applications and servicing procedures.
• Conduct claim intake and provide full-service customer support in compliance with regulatory, company, and client standards.
• Inform customers about required documentation, claim processing timelines, payment details, and claim status.
• Guide claimants and callers on client prerequisites and benefit plans.
• Precisely input verbal and written claim details into the designated system.
• Redirect customer calls to the appropriate contacts or elevate issues to Service Center Specialists or management.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
• High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
• Minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Experience in an inbound call center is preferred.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency in PC usage, including Microsoft Office applications and the Windows environment.
• Must meet established typing standards.
• Strong organizational capabilities.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
• Capacity to support various clients through different communication channels and utilize multiple systems concurrently.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team or independently.
• Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies.
• Must adhere to all attendance requirements.
