This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Collaborate with leading healthcare providers to utilize Baxter’s clinical IT and clinical communications offerings.
• Work alongside cross-portfolio sales executives to focus on key accounts and finalize system-wide software solution sales.
• Utilize health economics data to create territory business plans and achieve or surpass assigned sales targets.
• Establish trust and credibility with customers and partners.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, tapping into underutilized customers, and expand the installed base for Baxter Care Communications solutions.
• Deliver presentations that highlight the clinical-outcome value of Baxter solutions.
• Provide technical insights and demonstrate compatibility with clients’ IT environments.
• Engage C-suite stakeholders in customer organizations to facilitate business-forward meetings.
• Independently identify opportunities at the hospital or system-wide level and manage the territory effectively.
• Oversee quoting and provide customer proposals while managing discounts and safeguarding margins.
• Navigate customer contracting processes with the support of Baxter’s legal and business resources.
• Forecast and manage sales opportunities within Salesforce, including next steps, stages, probabilities, close dates, and deal sizes.
• Stay updated on healthcare, technology, product, and economic trends.
• Clearly articulate economic and clinical advantages and connect products to outcomes.
• Explain Baxter's operational and service processes throughout the sales journey.
• Negotiate and finalize agreements with clinical, medical, IT, department heads, and C-suite decision-makers.
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience as a top performer in healthcare, medical device, or software sales at a hospital or system level, with established C-level relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience from an accredited institution.
• Proven track record in solution selling, with experience in developing new accounts using innovative digital and software solutions.
• Experience in growing revenue for a sophisticated portfolio, including new additions.
• Technical knowledge of IT environments and a working understanding of clinical and medical processes and workflows.
• Strong background in high-value, innovative sales and lifecycle selling practices.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or a similar CRM tool, coupled with a successful history of funnel management and forecasting.
• Strong work ethic with a commitment to detail, organization, and effective time management.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers, staff, and internal teams.
• Proficient negotiation and closing abilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 50–75%, including overnight stays.
• Must have authorization to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Additional potential to earn sales incentive compensation for meeting or exceeding targets.
