This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +29 more states.
β’ Respond to both emergency and non-emergency calls, adhering to protocols to assess priorities and dispatch appropriate responses.
β’ Deliver empathetic customer support utilizing both scripted and unscripted replies.
β’ Supervise a significant volume of medical alerts and alarms, providing assistance during high-pressure situations.
β’ Log call details, dispatches, and messages into a database in real-time.
β’ Communicate with empathy, respect, and patience to ensure a positive experience for members.
β’ Verify and update customer information within the system.
β’ Diagnose alarm system issues and report them for prompt maintenance.
β’ Ask about and suggest preventative healthcare services to members.
β’ Handle access to sensitive materials and uphold strict confidentiality.
β’ Engage in simultaneous talking and typing while navigating various screens and systems.
β’ Complete onboarding training and mandatory compliance assessments.
β’ Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
β’ High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
β’ 0β1 year of experience in customer service, ideally within a contact center or healthcare environment.
β’ Outstanding customer service and interpersonal abilities.
β’ Excellent oral and written communication skills.
β’ Capability to maintain composure and empathy in high-pressure conditions.
β’ Self-driven with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
β’ Proficient typing skills (minimum 35 WPM).
β’ Familiarity with customer service software and CRM systems is preferred.
β’ Efficiently switch between multiple screens and systems.
β’ Competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
β’ Availability to work weekends, overtime, and flexible hours as required.
β’ Minimum internet speeds of 50Mbps download and 25Mbps upload are necessary.
β’ Capability to sit at and operate a computer with a headset for extended periods.
β’ Ability to lift up to 10 pounds and reach/bend to access items in cabinets and shelves.
β’ Capacity to speak, hear, and see throughout the assigned workday.
β’ Engage in repetitive keystroke/data entry tasks for the duration of the workday.
β’ Minimal walking required.
β’ Ability to handle a high volume of calls, exceeding 100 calls per day.
β’ Must reside in one of the eligible states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, or Wyoming.
